About me.

I am a freelance writer and journalist. What predominantly interests me is the intersection between current affairs and culture; that space between people and politics that all literature, philosophy, and art stems from.

I graduated from King's College London in 2018 with a First Class Honours degree in English Literature and Language. I graduated from UCL in 2020 with an MA in English: Issues in Modern Culture - I passed with merit. My master's thesis was an inquiry into the myth of the struggling artist in George Orwell's Keep the Aspidistra Flying. My thesis was eventually published in the world-leading academic journal Orwell Studies, which was a great privilege.

Professionally, I am a Content Executive with over a years' experience in the field. Privately, I am an avid writer and reader, interested in the role of the artist in both contemporary and historical contexts. I am fascinated by what we as a society expect from our art and what we receive from it, and the role artists still have to play in the creation of this century's cultural consciousness.
